mabe5454
I got vidp_313043.zip (Delhi) from AVsim. I placed the VIDP in the library of FSX above India. I found library objects in the Scenery folder of VIDP. I copy them to Global\Scenery. So this is what happens: If I press F9 (VC) then I get the markings. The plane I am using has only 2D panel. Thoughts? Cheers,
jandjfrench
Hi, I have no idea of why you copied any of the downloaded files to the Global/Scenery folder. Rather than trying to address this I'll just tell you what I did after downloading the file. As I had no scenery downloads for India I created a new folder. In the Addon Scenery folder I have an Asia folder in which I created an India folder. I copied the VIDP folder from the download to the new India folder. I next started FSX and browsed to the new VIDP folder and activated as usual. I only checked the new airport during daylight as I wasn't sure what you were trying to demonstrate by the pictures you included. Here are a few pictures with the new scenery activated and the default in the same areas. The taxiway markings exhibited an abnormal amount of flickering. Jim F. mabe5454
Yeah, I guess in day time the numbers on the marking show but at night they are black in 2D but I can read them in 3D. I place the marking files in Global\Scenery thinking that the were objects. I'll fix that again. Case closed. Thanks, Cheers,
