Southeast pilot
Plain and simple question. I've just buildt myself a new computer and installed FSX and all needed addons but .?.? How do I get a backup from my old computer? What I want is just to get flighthours and logbook over to my new installation. When it comes to settings and all that my new setup is so much better so theres no need to get those. They will probably just mess things up. / Southeast pilot
Southeast pilot
Just found the answer in outher threads. Feels very tricky though to get a simple user backup. If anyone has a simple sollution ( not "Backup the whole FSX library", I've seen that already ) feel free to reply here. Thanks in advance here and thanks so far for all help, sollutions and ideas I've got so far on this splendid forum. / Southeast pilot
StringBean
I have attached a small text file that is actually a batch file I use to backup the following files... FSX.cfg dll.xml exe.xml cameras.cfg Standard.xml scenery.cfg Logbook.BIN GrantedRewards.bin The batch file creates a new folder named FSXDataBackup in your Documents folder. The above files get copied to a new folder in FSXDataBackup named with the current date. To use the file, change the extension to .bat and double click on it. I use this file every time I make a change or add an addon. peace, the BeanFSXDataBackUp.txt WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots.
