piet06273
Last week I bought from Simmarket : INV3RTEDCO5INE - FSX VISULATOR MAP 2.0 for € 21,20. After trying for 1 week I cannot get it working or started in any way, WIN10 home - FSX Gold - I5 12600 - RTX3060ti - M2 1TB - 2X16G 3600. It installs, but after doubleclicking or run as administrator absolutely nothing happens. Tried the following: Norton turned on or off , installing in and outside of: C:\programX86\etc, compatibility options, safe mode, reinstall all Simconnect files etc etc. Contacted Simmarket: who say: go to the Publisher. Somehow I have the impression that INV3RTEDCO5INE is defaulted or taken off line . Nowhere on Simmarket is an indication that it won't work on WIN10 or any of my SIM setup. Could anyone give some advice, I 'm prepared to provide any further info of my system and Sim's . When it would not work on my Desktop PC, I installed it on my Laptop on which I have with a complete legal vanilla version of FSX Steam. Also on my laptop it will not start, nothing happens. Maybe the error log can give some info. Could anybody give some advice here, thanxs Faulting application name: FSX Visulator Map.exe, version: 2.0.6946.37306, time stamp: 0x5c330324 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.22621.1555, time stamp: 0x686e4e74 Exception code: 0xe0434352 Fault offset: 0x001479d2 Faulting process ID: 0x0x2840 Faulting application start time: 0x0x1D994C5303E3B49 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\inv3rtedco5ine\FSX Visulator Map\FSX Visulator Map.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll Report ID: 9396019d-ecd8-4bc2-822c-fea92b239d77 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 01/06/2023 22:11:03 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: Application Crashing Events Level: Error Keywords: User: DESKTOP-4GR7G4A\ Computer: DESKTOP-4GR7G4A Description: Faulting application name: FSX Visulator Map.exe, version: 2.0.6946.37306, time stamp: 0x5c330324 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.22621.1555, time stamp: 0x686e4e74 Exception code: 0xe0434352 Fault offset: 0x001479d2 Faulting process ID: 0x0x2840 Faulting application start time: 0x0x1D994C5303E3B49 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\inv3rtedco5ine\FSX Visulator Map\FSX Visulator Map.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll Report ID: 9396019d-ecd8-4bc2-822c-fea92b239d77 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" Guid="{a0e9b465-b939-57d7-b27d-95d8e925ff57}" /> <EventID>1000</EventID> <Version>0</Version> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode> <Keywords>0x8000000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2023-06-01T20:11:03.5859179Z" /> <EventRecordID>1652</EventRecordID> <Correlation /> <Execution ProcessID="9196" ThreadID="528" /> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-4GR7G4A</Computer> <Security UserID="S-1-5-21-3805262511-2272359027-3072638822-1001" /> </System> <EventData> <Data Name="AppName">FSX Visulator Map.exe</Data> <Data Name="AppVersion">2.0.6946.37306</Data> <Data Name="AppTimeStamp">5c330324</Data> <Data Name="ModuleName">KERNELBASE.dll</Data> <Data Name="ModuleVersion">10.0.22621.1555</Data> <Data Name="ModuleTimeStamp">686e4e74</Data> <Data Name="ExceptionCode">e0434352</Data> <Data Name="FaultingOffset">001479d2</Data> <Data Name="ProcessId">0x2840</Data> <Data Name="ProcessCreationTime">0x1d994c5303e3b49</Data> <Data Name="AppPath">C:\Program Files (x86)\inv3rtedco5ine\FSX Visulator Map\FSX Visulator Map.exe</Data> <Data Name="ModulePath">C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll</Data> <Data Name="IntegratorReportId">9396019d-ecd8-4bc2-822c-fea92b239d77</Data> <Data Name="PackageFullName"> </Data> <Data Name="PackageRelativeAppId"> </Data> </EventData> </Event> I5 12600K - RTX3060TI - 32GB 3600 - M2 - WIN11 - FS8/9/X - MSFS - full ORBX UTX etc.

Founder Nels_Anderson Posted June 9, 2023 Founder Share Posted June 9, 2023 On the Facebook page you referenced there is an email address for support, have you tried contacting them for help? I can't help but notice, though, that the Facebook page has not been updated in almost 3 years. Your suspicion about the company being out of business may be correct. jorgen.s.andersen
When I searched this exception code: 0xe0434352 on the web, what I saw pointed to a .NET Framework error. So what I would do here is to search for and get everything about the .NET Framework from Microsoft and install it, both x86 and x64 versions. After those are installed, reboot and run Windows Update, and in Update under Advanced options, make sure that the switch "Receive updates for other Microsoft products" is set to On. Leave that switch on On in the future. If this doesn't make it work, I'm afraid you have dud on your hands, and I would write Simmarket, tell them the whole story, and urge them to pull the product from their lineup. pomak249
Its also for sale at Simshack and PCAviator so it looks to be valid piece of kit albeit old! I would persevere it obviously did work. i5 4690 (350mhz) with Arctic Cooler, 32GB Patriot Viper 1600mhz, ASUS Rock H97 performance MoBo, MSI Ventus XS OC 1660GTX 6GB, Windows10 64bit, 256GB and 500GB Crucial SSDs
jorgen.s.andersen
Pomak, I agree with that it obviously did work. But let's see if the .NET Framework fix works. Jorgen

Thanxs so much (to all posters) for all suggestions received, really appreciate this, I filled a support page on INV3RTEDCO5INE website 5 days ago, no reaction yet..... , will try (again) if any Microsoft Net.framework (file api or dll) is missing.... The product still seems attractive, less clutter than Little Nav Map, which thankfully in itself is fully customizable in this respect. Apart from the € 21,20 spent (not nothing) it bothers me that it neither will not work on my Lenovo I7 7600 , GTX1050ti laptop in my legally bought FSX vanilla version I have installed on it. I5 12600K - RTX3060TI - 32GB 3600 - M2 - WIN11 - FS8/9/X - MSFS - full ORBX UTX etc.

Jorgen Again I ran the Microsoft Net.Framework repair tool and in fact it made some changes in my system. then I deactivated all Norton and Firewall options and I installed the 'Visulator' again. It installs, no prob, and creates a desktop icon. But no matter what and how it just won't start, just the 1/4 sec little circle turning and then nothing. In my Sim life, starting FS5, I've had my fair share of unwilling add-ons. 8 years ago it took me 2 month's to find a one single reduntant word in my WIN register which blocked my FSX UTX from working. But this one seems a 'no go' , thanks all for help and suggestions given....... jorgen.s.andersen
"Again I ran the Microsoft Net.Framework repair tool" - did you go out on the web and search for .NET Framework, then get what you could find (from Microsoft only), both x86 and x64 versions, and install them all, as I outlined above? The repair tool will only repair what you have already. Jorgen
ftldave
In Windows 10, go to Control Panel, Turn Features On\Off, and see if all versions of .NET are checked, activated, especially .NET 3.5 - often it is NOT on - and it emulates the older release versions. As Jorgen said, the repair tool will only repair what you have already - and the problem program may be dependent on some older version of .NET. Does the readme or installation guide (if any) that came with the program show what is required to run it? Better check and see.
