Looking down and around without seeing the seat or the plane itself

Hi,

IIRC, I used to be able to look all around and see down, to my left, right and behind with no obstructions.

Now if I look around all I see is the Seat or out the window etc.

 

How do I regain that superb ability to look around as if I am just floating in thin air with no airplane around me?

You can get this by disabling the Virtual Cockpit.

 

In the aircraft’s model folder, edit model.cfg.

Delete the line starting with interior=

 

Make a backup first!

Change this: See_Self=1

 

To: See_Self=0

 

in your FSX.cfg file
