usb777
Just upgraded to Spad Net since the old Spad 51 or something wasn't starting the aircraft using the Saitek Switch Panel but now learning something new my first question I have not found the answer to do I need to assign a profile to every aircraft the first time I load it? The old spad I just used their default profile seemed to work for every aircraft. I still use the FSUIPC 4.975 as well Mike G. alain-simu
Hello usb777 I've got the last updated SPAD-neXt version. In the list of profiles, you can create a new profile (empty or from an existent one) Then open it and ask to "reindex planes". Wait a little (depending on the number of your airplanes). Then Assign the new profile to the plae of your choice. Next time you select this plane in your simu, spad-next will load the corresponding profile. Hope this helps. Else, there are a SPAD-neXt on-line doc https://docs.spadnext.com/ and a dedicated server on DISCORD. You'll find much help on these. usb777
My question if I might rephrase say using the default profile and assign it to all the aircrafts installed at one time Mike G. alain-simu
Hello, Personally, I do not recommend to do what you're asking ! in this case all your planes would have to be of the same type, otherwise a default profile would be very small: * Show main views (F9, F10, F11 and F12) * Possibly Engines Auto Start and Engines auto shut down * pushing a little more: Battery ON/OFF, Avionics ON/OFF The other controls must be available to you on your joystick or your other accessories... The interest of SPAD-NEXT is to be able to automatically assign a specific profile to the loading of an airplane when you select it Optionally, you can imagine generic profiles : * 2-engine liners, 4-engine liners, * single-engine, twin-engine or four-engine turboprops or propellers * rotor plane That's what I did and I'm very satisfied with SPAD-NEXT !
