Not sure if this is the right place for this but I am thinking of replacing my Quest 2 with something better but not extortionately expensive. I have just upgraded my PC and it runs FS2020 virtually on ultra across the field. So no problems there. I am looking at the Pico 4 and HP Reverb. I have tried the Reverb in the past but always had trouble getting it to work due to a lack of a USB A port. (The USB A to USB 3 adapters are totally useless). I now have a USB A port on my PC, but the Pico 4 is looking quite good value. Anybody tried it with FS2020?

Stick with the Reverb G2. You may have FPS problems with the Pico 4

HP came out with an updated cable to address the problem you describe. Maybe contact HP to get the updated cable. I had the same problem with the USB adapters you mention. HP sent me an updated cable which worked until my Reverb quit working. HP sent me a replacement headset under warranty plus an additional updated cable and it has worked with the USB adapter you mention ever since. Now I have an extra updated cable and am very happy with the Reverb G2.

Thanks for the replies. It seems as though I got my USB A and Cs mixed up in my original post. I will opt to give the Reverb another try especially as my Quest has decided that it will no longer work with Airlink. I am not sure what the problem is it just gradually started to go wonky in Airlink and then packed in altogether. I will give it a last try with a cable link now that their price has dropped to a few pounds and if that does not work it will become an expensive book end.

Thanks for the link! Only problem now though is you need the RTX4090

I have the 3090 and can’t upgrade just yet.

It’s certainly worth considering now though :)
