Start Time Summary

Just did a complete fresh install of the simulator…Here are the summary loading times:

 

First Start After Clean Install: 4:16

Second Start After Clean Install: 2:58

First Start With 140gb Community Folder: 11:06

Second Start With 140gb Community Folder: 6:41

 

So, for my peace of mind, it seems like I am pretty much in the range that everyone is experiencing…Maybe MS will include faster loading times in the future, but I can live with this for a while!

Why on earth would anyone need 140 GB loaded in their community folder? If you use Addon Linker, which places only links in Community, the requirement is far less. Using that app, even with many active scenery files and other stuff in Community, for me it typically is about 1.9 GB, and the load time is a couple of minutes. 140 GB, I don't understand at all.
