leuen
Recently I had to replace my high game laptop with a new one. This performs a Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU and 32 GB Ram. Could anyone suggest suitable settings for the graphic card? Thanks for any advice. Bernard
NMLW
If you don't already have it download "Nvida_Inspector". Under "Profiles" search for "Microsoft Flight simulator 2004" and try using those settings. Larry
leuen
Thanks Larry. I used Inspector already before and now tried to set the former values. But it still remain a quite anyoing flickering environment. Bernard
NMLW
I have not had that problem. You might try adjusting some of the settings in the Sync and Refresh area, especially in the Vertical Sync items. Also check that the Anisotropic filtering mode is set to User-defined and the filtering setting is 8X or higher. Larry
leuen
Several older settings are shown in the web. All of them have ser Vertical Sync with "use 3D application setting". I now tried to set it with "1/2 refresh rate" an got a quite acceptable result. At least in windowe mode no flickering anymore. I highly appreciated your tip, Larry!
