krjones65
In September I bought a gaming laptop, just for MS 2020. I downloaded it from Steam site. And I was excepting some kind of Owners or Users Manual. Does anyone know how or if there is a users manual for MS 2020 FS. Maybe how can obtain a copy for using with the software..... Thanks..... Founder Nels_Anderson Posted November 26, 2021 Founder Share Posted November 26, 2021 Microsoft did not supply a manual for MSFS 2020. Shortly after release, though, SoFly stepped up and created one. They update it regularly as the sim itself changes: https://store.flightsim.com/product/sofly-a-guide-to-flight-simulator-extended-edition-for-msfs/
g7rta
I recommend you take a look at the tutorials on YouTube. There’s a guy who calls himself “Squirrel†who does some excellent ones, like this one…. punder
Kip on the Ground, and simhanger are also really good. Especially recommend Kip’s “first flight in DA40 NG.†Simhanger is really good for control setup, views etc. And yeah he misspells hangar :)

punder
Forgot Huddison, he’s good too. I learned something today, in my perpetual-beginner way: In the DA40 NGX mod (an excellent trainer, sort of a G1000 C172 with a low wing, which means you can actually see the runway turning base to final), even though the G1000 lights up, you MUST turn on the avionics master for the autopilot to work. I had some serious maneuvering excitement before I figured this out. :) Edited November 26, 2021 by punder
