SAM Hunter
It's called "Augmented Reality" by Magic Leap based in New Zealand and still in development but once available imagine how our world will change, no more boxes to be tied to, everything as it is in size and scale. 360' and 3 axis of view.. In this sample video it's a shoot-up game, but imagine a cockpit with P3Dv? or other fight simulation to this standard... Wow can't wait for this to come out David... Microsoft Link: http://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-hololens/en-us This is what Augmented Reality Flight simulation may look like when it is available, blending your hardware and computer with the AR Goggles you would wind up with this view. Hardware basically needed: Flightsim chair and controllers http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2015/03/30/Before.jpg Your computer http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2015/03/30/Case.jpg Augmented Reality Goggles http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2015/03/30/AG_Gogles.jpg Flightsim seat and yoke viewing through goggles with-in simulation http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2015/03/30/Seatandsimulationcopy.jpg With simulation active and pilot operating with goggles http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2015/03/30/PaeesahFinished_IIcopy.jpg "Remember, All you have to do is ask." http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2015/10/25/windows10signaturecopy.jpghttp://www.pixeljoint.com/files/icons/full/helicoptero_animado_2.gif

Leo112
I could just see someone coming into the room with you wearing a headset and a toy gun looking like you've just taken a major hit of 'meth'. You can see the virtual enemy but no one else can. That being said Microsoft is already beating them to the punch, we'll see who wins: http://www.pcgamer.com/face-off-could-windows-hololens-change-how-we-game/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aThCr0PsyuA For simulation this could be huge. I hope it takes off in a major way. http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/Forum_Banners/Dillon01.jpg Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 10 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6
avallillo
This could also be a player at the airline levels, who knows? I was actually mildly surprised to see that the A380 and the 787 had cockpit windows - this may show up in the real world too, although by that time the "pilot" will probably be experiencing it while sitting on the ground. The layovers are what will be missed!
