g7rta Posted December 20, 2020 Share Posted December 20, 2020 You can move the while sim across to the new drive (which presumably you've done) but I. Think the best way is to uninstall MSFS and the reinstall it on your new drive... which of course means downloading everything. But you’re less likely to have issues. Download the STANDARD version from the MS Store Download Digital Ownership Launch MSFS & after directing it to your new drive, let it download/install the main core of the sim. When done (2-3 hours later) go into content manger and download everything else (this includes deluxe/premium deluxe extras) Enjoy flying. cianpars Posted December 21, 2020 Share Posted December 21, 2020 I plan to get a bigger SSD soon and to avoid any issues, I will simply clone my 250gb SSD onto a new 1 terrabyte SSD. I hope that goes well, but if there are problems, I will still have the old SSD to fall back on. I did this wit Windows and FSX a few years ago, but will have to revise the process as I've forgotten now having not done it for many years.
