mauiguy Posted August 21, 2020 Share Posted August 21, 2020 Finally have pretty much everything working properly now, but for the life of me I cannot get the Garmin G430 (Cessna C172) to activate a "Direct-To" input. I select the destination and then hit enter twice, but it still says "Activate?" and I can't get it to go further. Ideas? Thanks for your help!! arosenberg Posted August 21, 2020 Share Posted August 21, 2020 I have been working on this all morning and have finally figured out how it works. I assume you have pressed DME and determined how to enter the Airport Id using the knobs. Once you have the ID entered, "push" the knob button so it highlights "ACTIVATE" then press ENT (enter) ONCE. It took a while (I'm 81 years old), but finally figured out how to highlight the "activate" button. Hope next time I can remember how I did it!! Thanks again!
