turboprof
I need to change my work laptop and am hoping to kill two birds with one laptop... has anybody tried using FS2020 with this type of laptop?? 144 Hz, 16GB Ram, GeForce RTX2070 Super, 17.3" screen. Any constructive comments would be great... YES, I know I could buy a good gaming PC, but am wondering if I'll get ULTRA with a laptop with above config. Thanks you in advance
joepilot4567
I have a new dell G5 with similar specs 1080p. I have it set at high end with scaling set to 150. I get 30 frames consistently. I do have lower frames at larger airports and flying the Airliners. You can do ultra but above 20 is a struggle. Overall I’m happy with the performance and it looks great. turboprof
Thank you. I should've mentionned that it has an i7-10750H processor... again, don't want to buy a gaming laptop unless it runs FS2020 at 4K and can be projected to an 85" TV. Thanks again for any input... stusue
I bought an MSI GE75 specifically for MSFS. I got the one with the GTX 2080s graphics card, 32 gigs of ram, 1 hardrive with 1T ssd and a second hardrive with 1 T 7200 hardrive. It runs the new simulator great. Super smooth and less than a minute load times. Couldn't be happier. My system MSI GE75 Raider Intel Core i7 10750H CPU 32 GB Ram 2T SSD HD Geforce RTX 2080 Super
