Prostock
FSX-SE - I recently installed Avast Anti Virus. After Install when I open LNM, I get this error. I have friends who have the same Anti Virus and they do not get this error. All our settings are identical. Any idea's ? Thanks
amberdog1
You will need to add NavMaps to your exceptions list, and the approved apps list.
Prostock
Thanks amberdog1. Ok, so I uninstalled Avast totally from my computer and I'm still getting this error. I am using the default Windows Defender program for antivirus protection. Why do you think I'm still getting this error? Thanks
CRJ_simpilot
It may be a SSL setting in your Internet connection settings under the control panel. But you may be better off opening an issue at the Dev's Github page here. Edited October 16, 2019 by CRJ_simpilot OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk? An awesome weather website with oodles of Info. and options. Wile E. Coyote would be impressed.
Prostock
Thanks CRJ - I compared my settings to yours and they are exact. I will check github page as suggested. Thinking about it, this only happens when I click the Update LNM so solution would probably be Don't click Update as I don't think the program gets' updated any longer. Thanks again
f16jockey_2
... as I don't think the program gets' updated any longer. You'd be surprised once you get it working. Bad news is I'm not smart enough to solve IT problems. Wim
CRJ_simpilot
The program gets updated all the time and you can grab the latest releases from Github as well as turn on the feature in LittleNavMap to show you updates or even beta updates. I have been in communication with the Dev (Alex I think it is) about issues before. He will help you sort it out and seems right on top of things. I'd be lost (no pun intended) without LittleNavMap. It always sits on my second screen as I fly. It even shows my AI helicopters. :D I use this add-on for helicopter traffic. http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=helitraffic Will work for both FSX and FS2004. https://albar965.github.io/index.html I'm actually thinking about donating once I get paid again. Thanks CRJ but I'm lost when it comes to trying to update & find files. I went to the links you provided but don't know where to go from there. I don't have Navigraph FMS Manager & would not know how to use it. That seems the only thing for updates. I could not find any updates area. Yes, I'd be lost without LNM, great program.
