vrpilot
Has anybody had a chance to try this? I am thinking about getting into simming and not sure if I should build a cockpit setting or to fly VR. The reason I'm asking is I just tried VR on PS4... yes I have had TrackIR and NO it is not as immersive as VR. https://flyinside-fsx.com/?loggedIn=true
llivaudais
For what it's worth, I have a friend in the UK who's been a big VR fan for the last couple of years. I recall him using Fly Inside ( I understood it being more as a VR utility for flying P3D) but he seems to be saying now that the P3D product has now got VR in a much better place and (quoting now) "It just works". I'm not a VR person yet and hardly even remember to include my Track IR either. Perhaps a little more research is called for. Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: self-built i7-4790 at 4 GHz; GA-Z97X mobo; GTX 970; 16GB gskill; quiet, fast and cool running. Win 7/64: 840 EVO OS; 840 EVO (500G) game drive; Win10/64: 850 EVO (500G) for OS and games A few Flightsim videos on YouTube at CanyonCorners

Loyd Reading from their website they have built a vr sim from the ground up now...versus an addon to fsx or psd etc. This enabled them to create fully functioning cockpits. It's interesting...not quite there yet but exciting new times. I have trackir and this is totally different...you actually reach for the controls and get haptic feedback when you pull the yoke...turn knobs etc. Super cool. I think vr sim should have its own category actually.
cocoadream
It's really amazing experience! Highly recommend to try it, and then you'll be dreaming about real flight! :)
