epvanhunnik
My FSX stops recognizing my Saitek flight controller after awhile. Short haul flights are not a problem, and it recognizes the controller when I restart FSX. Even though FSX does not recognize it, it's still recognized by my computer. Under Options - Settings - Controls my Saitek controller is gone and it's replaced with the mouse. I got the FSUIPC that some have recommended and it's still not solving the issue. This never occurred when I had Windows 7. Here are the specs on my computer: Intel® Core i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30 GHz 3.30 GHz Processor 12.0 GB (11.9 Usable) RAM 64-bit Operating System, x64-based Processor Windows Edition 8.
rishabk97
This is a well known issue on Windows 8/8.1. Which version of FSUIPC have you got? The free one or the paid one? You need to have the paid one to tackle this problem. http://www.crossed-flag-pins.com/animated-flag-gif/gifs/India_120-animated-flag-gifs.gifhttp://status.ivao.aero/414320.png

StringBean
Right click on the Start button and select Control Panel. Select Power Options. For the active Power Plan, click on Change plan settings. Click on Change advanced power settings. Scroll down to USB settings. For USB selective suspend setting set to disabled. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots.
