casey jones
I often go on the Loss Airfield Web Site and searching for old airfields, I became drawn to Freeman USAAF Indiana. which was activated in 1942 and deactivated in 1945. Freeman Field was a very special type of base. All types of Japanese airplanes and German fighters and bombers were sent there for testing including the Japanese four Engine long range bomber code named Rita and the Junkers 380 German long Range transport plane. There are many pictures and a film taken at Freeman Field 1n 1945 of all the enemy airplanes there. Hope you will consider bringing this USAAF to life someday. shanwick
Have you thought of having a go yourself? Scenery and airport design can be great fun although you do need to have patience initially as there's quite a steep learning curve.
