pugilist2
I recently bought an Acer Predator X34 monitor and was wondering if anyone has found a way to run FS9 at 3400X 1400 resolution? I do not think there is, but figured I would ask. shanwick
I assume that the hardware setting in the sim won't display the resolution you need in the drop down list???? Have you tried manually amending the [DISPLAY] section in FS9.cfg to something like this: [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA EVGA 980ti ] Mode=3400x1400x32 I guess that with a system like yours the lights in the entire road where you live must go dim when you switch it on :D :D Dijvid
1biggles1
I have had wide screen systems since 2002 when Matrox first released the Phaheliae and sorted many systems out for others since. I presume FS9 is not showing the resulution that to me means the problem is in the graphics card settings Im fairly sure you need to apply an exspanded mode in there, hope this helps if not recoment the graphics card forum. shanwick
According to NVidia's website these are the maximum resolution settings that you can have with your card: Display Support: 5120x3200 Maximum Digital Resolution [5120x3200 at 60Hz with dual Display Port connectors] 2048x1536 Maximum VGA Resolution This seems to beg the question "How are you connecting your monitor?". 1biggles1
I’m not to sure with your card but you may find you can set up a custom display, be warned it doesn’t always work successfully, best try rejigging the monitor setting
