okbob
I am wondering if there is a way to list the names of the L:Variables that are operating while an aircraft is running in FSX? I did see the sticky for "BlackBox" in this forum, but that seems to be specific to a particular gauge, and not to the whole aircraft. I'd appreciate your thoughts, thanks. il88pp
I can't look at blackbox now, only read the sticky. But it says: "it can listen to the variables from any or all gauges in a panel. If that's correct it should be able to monitor all variables too. I have it installed, and I seem to recall you can also select what type of variables to monitor. So only L:vars is possible I think. But not sure on that. I haven't used it yet to be honest. Still a beginner with gauges me. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
Maybe I spoke to soon. I just looked at the blackbox site and saw no mention of all gauges at once. It could be in the readme file you get when you download blackbox. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
okbob
Thanks for looking, il88pp. I did download the Blackbox, and the zip file contains the same help data as the pdf on the Blackbox website. I have not yet tried running Blackbox, but will do so over the holiday. Have a good one.
n4gix
I do believe that Tom Aguilo's XML_Tools utility also has the ability to list all current L:Vars running. henrystreet
LINDA has a graphical interface, filtering and other capabilities for monitoring LVars. It does require FSUIPC however.

il88pp
I see how my message was misread. I did not create that tool, Doug Dawson did. I'm not him, I only posted the info. il88pp. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
