About This File

FS2004 United Arab Airlines Comet 4C. Misrair was renamed United Arab Airlines in December 1960 due to a planned almagamation of Egypt and Syria. The renamed airline was to reflect the fact it was to be the national airline of both coutries. The collapse of the plans meant the countries retained their own airlines. The UAA name was kept until 1971 when it was re-named Egyptair. This aircraft lasted from delivery to Misrair in June 1960 until 02 January 1971 when it crashed near Tripoli. Requires the DeHavilland DH 106 Comet 4C model by David Maltby. By Garry Russell.
