X-Plane Apt.dat File For SOCAL With No Helicopters. An apt.dat file for flights in the southwest US using add-on SOCAL scenery with no heliports (much more useable for fixed wing pilots). Use this as the sole apt.dat for those flights in SOCAL scenery. Built using XP Scn Cfg tool, it includes SOCAL apt.dat plus all other airports in +130-120 but no heliports. Makes locating a plane at an airport using the locate menu much easier when you are flying in the southwest. By G. Robert Shiplett.
