About This File

FS2002/FS2004 Blohm & Voss BV155 V2. The BV155 was a high-altitude interceptor aircraft intended to be used by the Luftwaffe against raids by USAAF B-29s. Work started on the design in 1942, but the design went through a protracted development period for no obvious reason and was still under construction when World War II ended. This fighter was designed to be a very high altitude interceptor, and the wings were made incredibly long, and on the wings were large and bulky radiators. Performance was poor at low altitudes, but surprisingly good at high altitudes, and the fighter had a ceiling of 56,000 feet. The panel is not included. By Kazunori Ito.
