FS98 Scenery--Mary Air Base, (UTAM), a important Air Base in Turkmenistan. In the 80's the Base was used by the Soviet Air Force for the Afganistan War. Since 2001 Mary is use by the US troups for the Operation "Enduring Freedom". Mary is located 170 nm east of Ashgabat and 130 nm north of the border to Afganistan. The scenery includes the base with two 2500 meter long runways, static aircraft, ATIS and navaids. This scenery was designed by using original Russian flight charts. By Andre Lederer.
