CFS2 Scenery--Gusap Airstrip base is tucked up in the Highland mountain just NW of Nadzab. During the war, it was home to several American USAAC squadrons including the 41st Fighter Squadron (P-47's) and 312th Bomb Group (A-20's) from January to June 1944. By Douglas Todd.
