CFS/CFS2 Belgian Spad 13. The Spad XIII reaching the front in early 1918. It was an immediate success, and became very popular with pilots. One of its best features was its speed and excellent climb rate. Numerous squadrons of various nationalities flew the Spad XIII, including several units with the Belgian Air Force. The type was made famous by such pilots as Renee Fonck, Georges Guynemer and Belgian pilots like Lieutenant Ciselet from the 10 Squadron 'the comets'. Original model by Andrew W. Hall.
