FS98 North American P-51D Mustang "LOU IV". Created by a talented team of North American Aviation Corp designers in 1940, the graceful P-51D Mustang, achieved unparalleled success in the savage air combat of WWII. Considered by a great number of aircraft authorities to be the best fighter plane in that era, it outperformed all other Allied fighters in speed, range, style, and maneuverability to become established as the principal fighter plane.
