FS2002 California Highway Patrol Aircraft. An aircraft used by the California Highway Patrol Aviation Unit. Through 1998, the Highway Patrol's field operations consist of 99 Area Offices, 17 Commercial Inspection Facilities, and six Communications Centers under the eight field divisions. Assistant Commissioner, Field also oversees the Office of Air Operations which manages the CHP aircraft program consisting of nine helicopters and 14 fixed-wing planes. These aircraft are used primarily for speed enforcement, search and rescue operations, emergency medical evacuations and allied agency support. Has transparent windows, flaps, retractable landing gear and all flight surfaces are moveable. Repaint by Bob Bongiovanni.
