CFS2 scenery--GZR_Amendola Italy was used as a heavy bomber base. The fifth of GZR Italian WW2 airfields. By April 1944, the US Army Air Force was established in Italy, at Foggia and Amendola. This was in a much stronger position to attack the oil-producing areas of Eastern Europe at shorter range and with far greater chances of success. There is a lighted runway and refueling. Dual start can be made from the ramp or runway. By Ric Charlebois.
