FS2000 scenery--Bovingdon Airfield near London, UK. Used as an operational training base for B-17 crews in WW2 it has featured in films like "The War Lover", "633 Squadron", "Mosquito Squadron" and "Hanover Street". Used by the 8th Air Force, the RAF, the USAF as well as NATO and civilian visitors. The airfield was closed in 1968 but still retains two of its runways. By John Puczynski.
