FS98 Boeing RC-135W Joint Star FS98 Boeing RC-135W Joint Star. The USAF RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft are equipped with an extensive array of sophisticated ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) and COMINT (Communication Intelligence) equipment. All RC-135 are assigned to Air Combat Command and operated by the 55th Wing, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Original 707 airframe by Bill Alderson, RC-135 conversion with elongated, radar-containing nose, twin lateral fore-fuselage containers and a number of extra antennae. Update 2022: CFM Engines and textured wheels by Stephan Scholz, textures by Udo Entenmann.
