FSX/FSX-SE Scenery--KUUU-Newport State Airport, RI, USA. Newport State Airport (KUUU) is located in southeast Rhode Island, USA and is a publicly owned, public use facility established in January, 1947. KUUU features a 2999 x 75 foot wide lighted asphalt runway with a 4 box VASI on the '4' left end and a 4 light PAPI on the '22' left end. Also a 2623 x 75 foot wide lighted asphalt runway with a 4 box VASI on the '16' left end in a modified Cross pattern plus the airport has a wind indicator in a segmented circle and a dusk to dawn white/green beacon. The airport is home to 10 single engine aircraft. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons.
