About This File

X-Plane 9 Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 1.0. The Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 was a German biplane fighter floatplane of World War I. It was a development of Ernst Heinkel's previous KDW, adding a rear cockpit for an observer/gunner, and had an unusual, inverted tailfin/rudder (which instead of standing up from the fuselage, hung below it) in order to give an uninterrupted field of fire. This X-Plane model is a simple fun flyer on straight floats or on skis. The instruments are in German. But you're not going to be looking at them much... this is a VFR, day, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants aircraft. This is distributed as freeware! No redistribution or modification without the explicit permission of the author. By Jennifer Kimball (A-Pilot).
