X-Plane 11 Scenery--PALU Cape Lisburne Alaska 1.2. This is PALU - Cape Lisburne LRRS Airport in Alaska (AK), USA. Cape Lisburne is a military airport not open to public use. The airport elevation is 14 feet, and although this is not well simulated in XP11, it is often inaccessible due to severe weather conditions. This scenery provides the airport, the nearby mining operation just to the west, and the military radar installation just to the east and on the mountain top. The scenery is made to be used with Ortho4XP terrain. It's not required, but I highly recommend it. Also, the taxi areas in this package have been made transparent to let the underlying ortho show through for taxi areas. If you don't use ortho terrain, you might want to edit the taxiway in WED and change it to dirt instead of transparency. Version 1.2: replaced the civilian radome on the mountain top with a custom model I bashed out in Blender to more closely match what actually appears to be there in photos of the area.
