About This File

MSFS 2020 Abad/FlyByWire Airbus A319 Merge. This is a merge of Abad studios Airbus A319 and FlyByWire A32NX (version 1.0). You must have FBW A32NX stable 0.6.3 version installed and active in order for this merge to work. There are few issues with lights, like double beacon lights, low situated nav lights etc., but I'm working on these, so it will be worth checking once in a while if the version of this merge has changed. A bit of a background of Abad - who are they? They're just a bunch of thieves who figured, they can steal Project Airbus aircraft, which originaly was developed for FS2004 and used in FSX as well, and FlyByWire aircraft, which was a community project (both freeware). Abad merged these aircraft and sold them as their own. Turns out, the flightsim community can be nasty if wants to be and soon after start of sales, the whole studio was pushed into abbys. Anyway, I did miss flying smaller Airbuses in MSFS so I did this merge and decided to make it available to MSFS community, as a freeware of course. By Andrzej Glowacki.

brytskiva, have you read the readme? It clearly states, it works with 0.63 stable version, not 7, not dev, 0.63 stable and you need to have it in your community folder/active in order for it to work. No need to be unkind.

duffys_tavern, you can get version .63 of the FBW by getting it from the github at https://github.com/flybywiresim/a32nx. Then click on word "Releases" on the right side of the page. Then scroll down until you get to version 0.63. Then click on v0.6.3. The scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "A32NX-stable.zip" to downlaod version 0.6.3. Note - FBW label all their downlaod versions with the same name, so I just rname them to add the version so I know what I've got.

Love flying the A319. But it might be an idea to remove 2.7GB (uncompressed) of duplicate textures titled "original textures" from the upload. They are not used by MSFS and take up nearly half of the download. Just removing these drops the download file size down from 1.4GB to 800MB.

Thanks Crispy for your help. Found and installed the .63 version but didn't help. Panel is still dark and wheels and gear are still white. Guess this is a bit above my head. I've never been a, "head under the hood, get your hands dirty" kind of guy. Always wanted to have it work straight out of the box, "shake n' bake". But thank you for your generous help, it's much appreciated.

duffys_tavern, seems like you have an issue with texture.cfg file within aircraft textures. The repaint you're trying to load is possibly missing one of the texture files and does not use the reference to other folders for some reason. Find me on youtube and put in the comment what are your issues. We'll try to solve them and get you a319 in your skies :)

A318 and A319 Working with Update7?

Any plan to improve to merge A350 with the same way?

Thanks

A318 works fine with the v0.6.3 but somehow does not work with the A319. The panels are still blank. Any help would be appreciated.

TO ALL FELLOW SIMMERS

At this moment the package does not work, do not download it. I will not resume work on it as latinVFR announced recently the works on A319.
