About This File

FSX Scenery--Michigan v2 MI, USA. The airports I have done, receive commercial airline traffic. Here is the version 2 of my original sceneries. This particular state took some time, as three of the airports had to be totally rebuilt. Runway 3L-21R is back in service. It is being used for takeoffs only, from what I can gather. KTVC runways were way off so the entire airport was rebuilt around their actuall positions. By Rick Bennett.

Thank you for Michigan! I grew up on a small airport (grassfield) in northern Michigan in the late 40's and early 50's, about 100 miles south of Mackinac Bridge. From the ages of 4 until I was about 9 I was constantly in the air flying with the guys who belonged to the flying club at the airport. I can't count the number of dawn patrols I attended thanks to my older friends. Regular Saturday morning gig in the summer. Cubbies, Pipers, Stinson etc. The amazing part of this whole story is, my father died learning to fly a small plan in Detroit in 1945, and my mom and uncle moved a hundred miles north of Detroit, bout some property an Viola, I lived on an airport. We've emailed and like I said, I like your work. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you like the scenery. Check out Frederick Zealor and his sceneries. He does smaller airports and does an amazing job. Happy flying. Also, you can get updates on the progress of my upcoming scenery projects on Facebook. Rick's FSX SCenery page.

Happy Flying,

Rick

Being in Florida, I've downloaded a lot of Mr. Zealor's sceneries as I usually fly single engine or twin on short flights to view scenery, only occasionally taking a jet flight. Thanks again for your work.
