X-Plane 11 Scenery--EGXP RAF Scampton (WWII) 1.2 UK. Welcome to my interpretation of RAF Scampton (Lincolnshire, England) home of the famous 617 'Dambusters' Squadron. The airfield is still very much alive today, however my version is based on an actual airfield map provide by the RAF museum, and I have tried to recreate it as it was in 1943. I don't claim it is 100% accurate, however as I mentioned it is based on a layout drawing of the real thing. There really is lots going on here and I really suggest you take some time to explore the airfield, as this is by far the most complex project I have tackled to date. For the scenery to work as it does on my machine, you will need the latest versions of the following libraries: The Handy Object Library (THE_HANDY_OBJECTS_LIBRARY.ZIP), OpenSceneryX (OPENSCENERYX.ZIP), 3D People Library (3D_PEOPLE_LIBRARY.ZIP), ALES Developer Library (ales_dev_lib.zip), PM Object Library (PM_LIBRARY.ZIP), Fly By Planes Library (FLYBY_PLANES.ZIP), RuScenery (RUSCENERY.ZIP) and the CDB library (CDB_LIBRARY.ZIP). A massive thank you to the authors for all their great work. This has been created to work with Orbx TrueEarth Great Britain Central, however it should also be OK with the base mesh, although I know some of the roads won't align.
