FS98 L1011-100 Stargazer With Pegasus XL Booster Rocket. 1974 Tristar L-1011-100, modified in 1994 as mothership for Pegasus -H and -XL satellite launch vehicles for Orbital Sciences (now part of Northrop Grumman). The model in this release is based on original 2/99 AFX by Eric Nabstedt, re-worked with 12-sided fuselage, engines, and wheels, as well as new wheeldoors, wheelwells, gear and flap animation, and an under belly Pegasus XL Satellite Launching Vehicle. The Stargazer is powered by three Rolls Royce RB211-22 turbofans with 42000 flb thrust each, giving the aircraft a maximum cruise speed of 520 kt. High-quality textures by Udo Entenmann.
