About This File

FSX Lockheed Super Constellation Update. This is an update for FSX of the Super Constellation by Mike Stone. It has been about 14 years since I updated it. I went over everything, and updated the flight dynamics. I changed and or added gauges to the panel, like the HUD that can be used or not as it is in a window. I believe this aircraft was originally made for FS2002 but everything works. No VC. By Bob Chicilo.

Thank you very much Bob Chicilo. The Constellation is one of my favorite A/C.

For sound replacement I use the excellent Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone sound file by Kelly McKernan from the file "FSX_P3D_Fairchild_C-119_Box_Car.zip" by Ted Giana.

Other A/C that used the Wright R-3350 Duplex-Cyclone and may contain other sound files:

Sound is one of the things that varies from person to person as to what sounds best to them.

Thank you for the thought of trying to help with the sound. For me, most aircraft sounds are too loud when in the cockpit; so it is hard to enjoy a long flight with most sound packages.

It is good to see that people appreciate what I try to do.

I like direct e-mail better than trying to find what people want from the simulator sites.

Bob Chicilo.

Dear Bob

I love your Connie update, but every one I have, has had the same problem. "Pilots Eye Level". While in the pilots seat I have a great view of the nose wheel, but NOT the horizon. It's like flying IFR. One day someone will get it right and I can enjoy the great aircraft you have given us.

P.S. Am I the only one with this problem? All my other aircraft are set right.
