M. Fouchard doesn't mention that the aircraft portrayed is Aeropostale's "Comte del la Vaulx," which made the first crossing of the South Atlantic, from St. Louis (Ndar), Senegal to Natal, Brazil, May 12-13, 1930, piloted by the legendary Jean Mermoz. Looking at the aircraft.cfg file, it appears that M. Fouchard's aircraft is carrying extra fuel to make it possible to simulate the transatlantic flight.
