About This File

FSX RV-9A New Textures And New Panel. Requires RV-9A_FSX_UPDATED.ZIP. These three textures were first designed for FS2004. Someone told me that I could use them in FSX if they had a panel and sound change that was designed for FSX. Because I had already uploaded an FSX version of the RV-9A, this was an easy job. This is my first painting of an airplane and was prompted by comments by Harrison Jones who flies a real RV-9A, G-CEEP, which is mostly a solid yellow. I have also included a red version of the RV-9A and the original texture which was an unfinished plane, G-SNAV, by Chris Lampard that he kindly offered to the sim community. The new panel is somewhat similar to the actual panel of the G-CEEP. Be watching for a fantastic new scenery for Caernarfon Airport in Wales designed by my new friend Harrison Jones. I have made a serious error... again. I did not upload the FS2004 model but just added the new textures to my FSX plane which works great if black is your favorite color. I will fix the problem and then I will take a long break from uploading to flightsim.com. For those that have already downloaded the bad file, I will customize a plane for you in a single color like the red or yellow plane upon request. I could possibly do more but no guarantee of that.

It will take me a few days to get my error corrected. What I will do if I'm allowed by flightsim is to upload my FS2004 plane but using my FSX panel from my previous FSX RV-9A plane. In this case, the alias sound is the same programming for both FS2004 and FSX. It will be a complete plane download and if you like flying the RV-9A, you will enjoy my next upload. I would try to explain my actions but that would probably only make things worse. J Dwayne Redding wbredsail@yahoo.com
