About This File

FS2004/FSX RMI's Micro Encoder Gauge. A realistic XML replica of a 1990s-era 3" gauge intended for home-built aircraft. Shows airspeed and altitude, temps, plus density altitude and an altitude alert. It offered digital accuracy and saved space in small panels. Add to any panel and as a popup. Instructions included. By Bob Kellogg.

For those of us who have worked little with xml files, it'd be helpful if someone could post a sample of a panel.cfg file that has been modified with the flap, gear speeds and "default" alert speed entered.

Ray, enter those numbers in place of the zeroes near the top of the Encoder.xml file. If you're not sure what the numbers are, you can find the flaps speeds in the aircraft.cfg file.
