Unfortunately, simply copying the unzipped liveries folder into the community folder - as the video suggests - does not seem to initially work. I am at a loss to understand why they aren't working lol.

I saw this, perhaps it will help:

%u201CI thought it wasn't working after I installed the files properly because when I went to view them in the hanger and they weren't showing up under liveries. I figured out that if you're in the world menu to make your flight plan that you have to select your plane in the top left then click the liveries tab to see them.%u201C

Yes, that is how you change liveries. By clicking on the aircraft and then clicking liveries.

It wasn't that though, but thanks for trying to help :%u00AC)

It turns out that the instructoins were possibly wrong. Instead of moving the whole directory to:

X:\MSFS 2020\Community\liveriesmegapack\liveries-747

I put the individual groups in:

X:\MSF 2020\Community\liveries-747

Once I moved all the individual aircraft folders into the community folder, they all work fine.

I do not even know HOW to get to the hangar view lol.

It appears that this is one of the weaknesses of the new fs is the file location structure. Im sure as time goes on it will get easier. Incredible sim!

I had to revert back to the British Airways A320neo from version 1 & 2 because someone changed it, and painted a tail number on the livery, which means you get two tail numbers, your one, and the one painted on the livery.

I have NO idea why people keep doing that as it makes them useless:

1. We can't all have the same number, it would be a bit silly now wouldn't it having three of four BA aircraft at Heathrow all with the same tail number ???

2. I want to use my own tail number, not the one you think looks good lol

I understand they may be modelling real-world aircraft, but as it was fine for the first two weeks, why did they change it ??

They should have made a new one and left the old one so we can choose between them !!!

ktchou: "All of my 747 liveries are backward on the right side of the aircraft. Any ideas?"

I have the same problem.

It's probably because of the repaints. (?)

Because the standard aircraft are normal.

And one more info: The B747 Lufthansa Cargo has the wrong model.

It should be the Cargolux model ...

MSFS worked fine until I installed the liveries pack, then after changing one of the liveries (the cessna 172) would not change any other liveries. After that the game kept crashing - had to uninstall then re-install. Possibly due to an error concerning "long file names". Apparently this does not occur when loading into a "non standard" location. Shame - but was great while it lasted.

As mentioned the 747 liveries are all reversed on one of the sides. You get to pick which side in some but really, how does that help? Is there some way to use the right and left liveries together to actually make a flyable aircraft? Is there a way to meld the two sides? If not it would seem prudent to not include the 747 liveries in the package.
