FSX RV-9A side by side low wing Vans aircraft. Kit plane by Vans Aircraft. This plane is remarkable in that it will cruise at 186 mph (162 kt) at 75% power at 8,000 ft and will land at 50 mph (44 k). I designed the 2D cockpit to match the usual custom built, but I included a virtual cockpit designed by Chuck Dome who help me with this model back in 2014. I have enjoyed this plane and hope you do also. Chuck provided a red, a blue and a green version. The red and the blue plane has my 2D cockpit but the C Dome virtual cockpit which is a glass cockpit.
