About This File

FSX/FSX-SE Scenery--Brewton Muni Airport. Brewton Municipal Airport (12J) is located in south-western Alabama (AL), USA and is a publicly owned, public use facility established in June, 1944. 12J features a 5001 x 150 ft lighted asphalt runway with a 2-light PAPI on both ends and a 5136 x 150 unlighted asphalt runway in a "V" pattern. The airport has multiple lighted wind indicators with one in a segmented circle and a white/green airport beacon that operates sunset to sunrise. The airport is home to 24 aircraft - 17 Single engine, 2 multi engine, 3 heli and 2 gliders. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. The project uses all freely available libraries and is an approximate representation of the airport. By Frederick Zealor.

Nicely done! Much better than the version I did. Still needs the Staff Sergeant's big red pickup in front of the Guard building though. LoL

If you're interested in doing a V2, let me know and I'll get pics on my lunch break one day.

I gotta figure out where to put all those files and get her installed first, but don't tell me you actually have it in there! Outstanding!

The Add-On libraries install easy...just follow the authors notes...once done, they should help with other uploads.

Have fun.

You got the red pickup truck and even the old boat! Do you live near there or fly into it?

I was intimidated by the number of addon libraries to install, but it took all of five minutes when I looked and realized what was going on. It's been a while since I putzed around with scenery.

Works flawlessly with UTX and GEX, btw

Frame rates are sweet too. No noticed drop. Nicely done!

When I update a scenery, I use Google Earth, AvNav and any pics I can find. A lot of times I use the principle of "TLAR" or 'that looks about right' %uD83D%uDE0E Hope you enjoy.
