About This File

FSX KCFS Seabee Redux v2. This Redux v2 package fixes and improves several glitches of the otherwise lovely payware KCFS Seabee and of the Redux original mod, including: corrected throttle, mixture and pitch levers' animation; vintage radio set replaced by Jon Dyer's KY196A and KT70 with 3D models in the VC with new, consistent background texture; GPS295 added in the VC; consistency of switches positions and actions; flaps and landing gear actuations much more realistic now with levers positions fixed. Full feature list in the enclosed read-me file. Bonus livery of OH-EGA is included. This is not a complete aircraft; the payware KCFS Seabee is required. By Remi "Kekelekou" Hugouvieux. Nice updates, but%u2026

Not sure the distraction of the %u201Creality%u201D of the flap/gear extension and retraction is worth the bother.

How about:

F5 :flap lever set to down

F6: flap lever set to neutral

F7: flap lever set to up

F8: toggle gear lever up/down

G: pump away!

Now, everything functions the way you intended, but doesn%u2019t put an unnecessary burden on

flying in the virtual cockpit or in an external view.

Hello,

 

I am a VC mouse click addict, what explains the way it is designed.

Changing the Fx keys to suit your suggestion is quite easy, I%u2019ll post how to do it on the forum thread in the next few days.

I have just tested a modified pump logic that runs as per your proposal, and it feels right.

So I am packing this up (along with a fixed radio texture) and upload it as soon as possible. I'll post the thread on the forum.
