FSX/FSX-SE Scenery--KOBE-Okeechobee County Airport. Okeechobee County Airport (KOBE) is located in Southeast Florida (FL), USA and is a publicly owned, public use facility established in April, 1940. KOBE features a 5000 x 100 ft lighted asphalt runway and a 4001 x 75 lighted asphalt runway in a Cross configuration. Both runways have 4 light PAPI's-both ends and the airport has a lighted Wind Indicator in a Segmented circle and a white-green airport beacon operating sunset to sunrise. The airport is home to 26 aircraft - 20 single engine, 2 multi, 2 jet, 1 heli and 1 ultralight. This version came about as an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. The project uses all freely available libraries and is an approximate representation of the airport. By Frederick Zealor.
