About This File

X-Plane 11.35+ Flying-V (Concept) 1.0. The Flying-V is a design for a highly energy-efficient long-distance aeroplane. The Flying-V was conceived by Justus Benad in 2014 as a student during his thesis project at Airbus Hamburg, and developed by researchers at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. KLM has backed this plane. In the Flying-V, the passenger cabin, cargo hold and fuel tanks are integrated in its wing structure. Because of its unique design, the engineers claim that it will be about 20% more efficient than the Airbus A350-900. A scale model of the concept is scheduled for test flight in October 2019. Documentation included in the package. By Billy Bargagliotti.
