About This File

FSX/P3D v3,v4 North American T-39 Sabreliner. The North American Sabreliner, later sold as the Rockwell Sabreliner, is an American mid-sized business jet developed by North American Aviation. It was offered to the United States Air Force (USAF) in response to its Utility Trainer Experimental (UTX) program. It was named "Sabreliner" due to the similarity of the wing and tail to North American's F-86 Sabre jet fighter. Military variants, designated T39 Sabreliner, were used by the USAF, United States Navy (USN) and United States Marine Corps (USMC) after the USAF placed an initial order in 1959. The Sabreliner was also developed into a commercial variant. FSX/P3Dv3,v4 native upgrade by A.F. Scrub. (See also SABRELINER_TEXTUREFIX.ZIP)

Very happy to see this one surface. Very nice job of melding the Lear VC with the native FSX modeling. If you're able, there are tweaks/additions that are required to smooth the flight model out (several sections missing in the config file). . .also the eyepoint is centered over the center console rather than the left seat.

Something else that I haven't figured out. . .the LE Slats show a color on the images included with the download, however I'm unable to get any color to show in the Sim. Maybe that texture wasn't mapped correctly?

To change the view inside the VC, go to your Aircraft.cfg, and change the following line :

[Views]

eyepoint =11.90,-1.20,1.50

Make a note of your eyepoint values before you change, so that if you don't like the new view you can change it back. The values above moves you over to the left of the cockpit, and also more to the front, iow closer to the instruments.
