About This File

FSX/P3D v3 Lockheed Electra L-10 Updated. This is an FSX update for the Lockheed Electra L-10, originally designed in 2004 by the Team FS-Design Berlin. The original model is compatible with FSX but some of the gauges are incompatible and, particularly, the VC panel is transparent in most of its sections. This update features a fix for this graphic issue. The gauge configuration is based upon the one by Peter Mercy, who posted a new update in 2017 but that update still displayed the VC transparency in FSX. The package also features seven fine repaints by different authors, among them the one used by Amelia Earheart on her last flight in 1937 and the one that appeared in the famous movie "Casablanca" featuring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. All credits go to the original designers of the model Arik Hohmeyer and Team "FS-Design Berlin", the authors of the additional repaints and to Peter Mercy for his 2017 update. The original readme contains all the FS-Design Berlin members' names. Corrected smoke effect for FSX and additional cam views for copilot and passenger cabin added. VC fix, new 2D panel with animated throttle panel and new cam views by Michael Pook.

Excellent Plane. Thank you for that.

But, we do need another Propeller bitmap. You cannot look through.

thanks.

as you can see in the thumbnails, on my system (Windows7/ FSX Accel.) the props look ok. So I don't

know what the problem might be. Could it be due to Windows10?

I've never had FS9 and have only tested and flown this model in FSX, hence I have no idea what problem you guys have. The thumbnails I've added to the package have all been created by me in FSX Acceleration and

display no faulty props, do they?

Did you use the bitmap which is inside the package, or do you have one more??

I use the bitmap in the package. To see if another one would also do the job I've tested one which is especially

for FSX Acceleration. It works too but the turning props look kind of odd then.

So, if you still have that issue with the one from the package, try and use one from a newer model but rename

it accordingly.

Nice plane, thanks. I'm using it in FSX accel under W7 also and have same prop proble. Have tried using bluured props from models exhibiting no prop probs without any success. Have lots of dds format I could use but they seam incompatible. Could there be a problem in the fallback cfg?

well, I've asked Erwin Welker, one of the most experienced designers, if he has had any problems with the L-10 in FSX. He denied it and wrote that there are no issues with the props, neither in FSX nor in P3D/Version3. So I'm sorry I can't give you further support.

Thanks for looking at this. I poste some pix in the gallery. Maybe someone will have a clue to a fix. I've managed to fix this in other models by switching blurred prop image files. Fixed one by removing the fallback texture (cfg) file. Nothing works with this model. Could it be something in FSX settings (like monitor res)? I have FSX Gold with accel, running in W7 32bit.

Thanks, DA

That prop problem can be caused by using FSX pr%u00E9-acceleration version in any Windows variant. The graphics seem to be different for both FSX versions. I may have a look,

That prop problem can be caused by using FSX before-acceleration version in any Windows variant. The graphics seem to be different for both FSX versions. I may have a look,
