FSX/FSX-SE Scenery--F72-Franklin Field Airport. Franklin Field Airport (F72), is located in central California (CA), USA about 13 miles South of Sacramento Executive (KSAC) and is a publicly owned, public use facility established July, 1946. F72 features a 3123 x 60 foot asphalt runway and a 3031 x 60 foot asphalt runway in a "T" arrangement with a wind indicator in a Segmented Circle. The airport is home to 12 single engine aircraft. This version came about because of personal attachment to Franklin Field as I spent many hours doing touch & goes and pattern work as a student based out of KSAC. This an attempt to provide a more accurate version of the airport and the surrounding area using the stock FSX scenery with no add-ons. The project uses all freely available libraries and is an approximate representation of the airport. By Frederick Zealor.
